An upcoming sports drama directed by Joseph Kosinski ( Top Gun: Maverick), featuring Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 prodigy from the 1990s. After a career-ending crash, Hayes becomes a journeyman racer. Three decades later, he's approached by his old teammate, Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), now the owner of the struggling APXGP team. Ruben convinces Sonny to return to Formula 1 to mentor the team's ambitious rookie, Joshua "Noah" Pearce (Damson Idris), and help elevate the team from the bottom of the standings. As Sonny confronts his past and the intense competition of the sport, he discovers that redemption and success require more than just speed on the track.
